Julia (she/her) is a Certified Training Partner with the Karen Pryor Academy (one of the leading dog trainer schools) and a long-time animal professional. She has a veterinary degree* and a PhD through the Animal Welfare Program (UBC). Julia is a professional member of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.

Her teaching methods are science-based and compassionate to you and your dog. She trains with positive reinforcement (reward-based training) because it works, it's ethical, and simply because it feels good.
