New Rescue Dog

For newly adopted rescue dogs 5 month and older

To borrow the words from Forrest Gump: Adopting a new rescue dog is like the famous box of chocolate - You never know what you get.

And while this is somewhere between super exciting and …  a bit nerve wracking …

… you do know that you want to give your new family member the best life possible, while also making sure that living together is easy and still allows you to do the things you love.

We can help you make this a reality, and start off the right paw with your new family addition.

Here are a few of the things that we can teach YOU:

** how to help your dog settle in your home

** what you can expect from your dog, and when

** how to understand what your dog is telling you

** how to teach your dog new skills

** what to do when your dog doesn’t listen

** activities for your dog (with and without you) to keep your dog happy and busy

Here are a few of the things that we can help you teach YOUR DOG:

** walking on leash without pulling

** coming when you call them

** greeting guests politely

** chilling on their bed when family and friends are over

** trick training to create a great bond between you and your dog right from the start

(Or, in other words: the basics such as sit, stay, down, come etc - all applied to real life so that your dog can do those behaviors when you need her to)
